It's in a couple of days, but I may not be around, so let me post a couple of pictures now.

The Kings on their way

In France, we celebrate it more than in the US. With the special cake "galette des rois".

Who's going to be King or Queen for the day?

I so wish my culture (White AngloSaxon West Coast USA Protestant) celebrated Epiphany.

Sage scoffed at it this morning. But when he got home I told him it was about the kings and the gifts they brought to baby Jesus and crowns and ***cake*** he said he could see his way to celebrating that every year. He does like cake.

Smile

Cake

Happy Kings' Day to all who celebrate!

Tell Sage that even the Three Kings like the special Epiphany cake. To wit:

Yum Yum!

Lovers in songs often met under lampposts and kissed and whispered sweet nothings or sweet somethings underneath lampposts so that phrase could mean just what it says... I suppose the lovers could be gay as well as heterosexual....
