We have also seen one wedding in the faith of the old gods Ramsey and Sansa, and one wedding in the faith of the Great Stallion (Dothraki) Kahl Drogo and Daenerys.

I was just curious in who decides what faith the wedding is done under. Most people are the Faith of the Seven and thats fine, Sansa has had one of each and Rob with being of the Faith of the old gods still have a Faith of the Seven wedding. While Dany (whom I believe is Faith of the Seven) Had a Dothraki wedding. there just seams to be no reasoning to it.

I'm not sure about all of them, but Dany was marrying the Dothraki Khal, so it had to be in a Dothraki ceremony. Sansa and Ramsay married at Winterfell, and they're both of the North, so it had to be the old gods ceremony.

I do agree that there is logic in these when you sit and reason them out. I think it just me trying to get my head around the fact that inter-faith marriages don't ever come up across problems of what faith they ceremony will be in.

Just out of a point of interest does anyone know where in Westeros Robb was when he got married?

Actually technically we have also "seen" another wedding Smile Jon and Yigret because Jon took her and she didn't try and run away (or kill him) technically in the eyes of the Wildlings they are married.

I realise i am nitpicking now it just has me interested Smile

This is fascinating, especially for me, interested as I am in the War of the Roses and Richard III!! very happy ten

I don't like the idea of Tyrion as Richard III, though. In real life, Richard III was not physically deformed at all. The hunchback, withered arm thing was a Shakespeare, cozying up to the Tudors, invention. If Richard had been deformed, 1) he couldn't have been the warrior even his enemy acknowledge he was, and 2) he would have had to have a special armor made. No such armor was ever found. Plus, they did find his remains recently, and those didn't show any physical deformity at all.

Do we already know how Game Of Thrones ends?
Sam Ashurst
From Harpers Bazaar UK

Game Of Thrones is masterful at foreshadowing, with intricate clues woven into the plot paying off years after they were first hidden in plain sight.

So we're pretty confident they dropped a few clues as to how the series will eventually end. Having watched and re-watched season seven's epic finale we spotted some hanging threads that might end up being super significant when the show ends. Here's what we uncovered.

1. Bran and Samwell will defeat the Night King
The youngest surviving Stark has clearly been kept in reserve for a big moment and we suspect the writers will hold that back until the very last episode.

In the finale, we saw Sam and Bran join forces to uncover important information about Jon's parentage, so expect the same pair to provide an essential weakness in the Night King's army in season eight.

2. Jon and Daenerys will have a child
Dany's inability to have a child was mentioned throughout season seven, so you can bet she'll be pregnant by Jon in the early stages of season eight.

3. Unless Jon is forced to kill her first
After weeks of lingering looks, Jon and Dany finally got romantic in the season seven closer, which may well make Dany the love of Jon's life - sorry Ygritte, sorry Ghost.

If that's the case, expect him to plunge his sword into her heart to fulfil the Azor Ahai prophecy, which requires a hero to kill his true love in order to save the day.

Dany's legacy will be as the saviour of Westeros, not its ruler. It'll be tragic, it'll be tear-jerking, it'll happen.

4. The Iron Throne will melt
Season seven ended with the Night King melting one of the biggest symbols of the series – The Wall.

The only thing bigger? The Iron Throne. It's the most iconic object in the show, the ultimate prize for several key characters, so wouldn't it be a massive moment if it got destroyed by a zombie dragon?

The consequences of this symbol of the monarchy being destroyed could be that our ideal surviving heroes (Jon, Tyrion, Arya, Yara, possibly Sansa) agree to rule in a democratic coalition of leaders, instead of through one all-powerful King / Queen.

5. Sansa will die
What's left for Sansa to do in Winterfell? As tragic as it is, Sansa's narrative thread has been dominated by Littlefinger – even when she overcame Ramsay, Littlefinger was lurking in the shadows, ready to manipulate her again. Now he's finally dead, punished for all of his crimes against her and the Starks, we're not sure what Sansa's purpose is in season eight – other than to provide a shock death.

There's a chance she could carry on as Lady of Winterfell while Jon's off saving the world / becoming the eventual King of Westeros, but it'll be a more interesting twist to give Arya that role – she was seen to be intrigued by the position in season seven and is frequently paralleled with her father Ned.
