People are tired and sick of the whose saga. The autopsy has proved that Terri Schiavo was in a vegetative state. Can't Jeb Bush give it a rest? If it's positioning himself favorably with the far right that he's trying to do, this is not exactly a smart move. Even Frist is now saying he didn't say what he did (records prove otherwise, of course).

Anyway, even if Michael Schiavo was a couple of minutes late in calling 911, what is Bush gonna do? Take the guy to court at this late date? Crazy!

Are we going to have 3 Bushes Prez almost in a row? If Jeb goes this way, I don't think so. He's beating a dead horse. What do you all think?

Jeb Bush's Surprise Move

Jeb Bush's request (that a state attorney investigate alleged discrepancies in Michael Schiavo's statements about how long he took to call 911 after Terri's collapse) startled even his closest confidants. While critics accused Bush of trying to curry favor with cultural conservatives, "this wasn't a position taken for the purpose of pandering," says one political adviser who was surprised by Bush's intervention and who asked not to be named.

Pol,

Have it occured to you that Jeb Bush actually believe in the position. He is a devout Catholic. Such an irrational position (that is unpopular) can only stem from religious conviction. No politician would take a position opposing the poll (and his supporters) unless he believe strongly in it.

All and good, Seed, but what's the point NOW?? Jeb can fight for his religious convictions or whatever for another cause if he feels so strongly about it. Why beat a dead horse and go after Terri's husband now? Waste of time and political capital Rolling Eyes uhh!
