What is they camd? Did you make a typo like a few of us do and meant came? OK just googled the words and it is came.. Now I have to do something which rarely seems to work for me and put up the words to the next song and add to it...Wish me luck...

Was that lonely woman really me?

Those were the days my friend
We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way.
La la la la,
Those were the days, oh yes those were the days
Mary Hopkins - Those Were The Days

Oops forgot to put up some new words...LOL

You didn't do too badly, but your post had to be edited a bit.... Yes, "camd" was a typo and has been corrected.

The problem with your entry is that you put the title of the song in the very first verse. So it was no problem coming up with the title in the next line... So the whole game is off-kilter!!!

You are supposed to post some lyrics that don NOT contain the title of the song or poem, the next poster has to post the next line(s) that have the title of the song, and highlight that title.

It should have gone this way:
